So amazing.

Two years ago, I was on my way to freshmen orientation, scared, alone and terrified of being with so many other people I didn’t know.

Little did I know, picking that specific orientation would change my life.

Not saying orientation was fun, it was pretty bad. Late nights, early mornings, getting over my fear of meeting people. However, meeting Mike Taylor was the best thing that happened to me. I remember him and I standing there awkwardly at the SLC getting cookies and lemonade, neither of which I actually liked. But he was cute and I was interested. We started talking and I just remember something about how giddy I was over the next few days. I literally was like a kid at Christmas.

Fast forward two years and we are together, and I’m happier than ever. Juniors at the best school in the world (Go Noles!), and out lives are so incredible together.

What I’m getting at is that I am so blessed and so happy with the small decisions I’ve made over the past two years. No, not everything has been perfect and I’ve made mistakes, but all those little things have led me to where I am now and I can’t imagine it being any different.
